1990-03-24 Humberto Gonzalez w co 3 Francisco Tejedor, National Arena, Mexico City, Mexico - WBC. Referee: Carlos Padilla. After opening up with the left jab, Gonzalez (107¾) switched to southpaw in the second round, scoring with two and three-punch combinations, while Tejedor (105¾) began to fight back with more vigour. With Gonzalez the busier, the challenger suddenly crumbled following a left uppercut to the jaw and was counted out 31 seconds into the third session.
