1990-05-06 Jose DeJesus w rsc 5 Alli Galvez, Tortuga Gym, Talcahuano, Chile - WBO. Referee: Isaac Herrera. Retaining the title for the second time, DeJesus (108) proved a cut above Galvez (108), who had struggled to make the weight, and was always going to be too strong for the local man. That proved to be the case and after being dropped from two heavy right hands to the head the referee had no option but to rescue Galvez from further punishment in the fifth round.
