1990-07-19 Robert Daniels w pts 12 Craig Bodzianowski, The Kingdome, Seattle, Washington, USA - WBA. Referee: Lou Moret. Scorecards: 119-110, 118-109, 118-109. Bodzianowski (190), who had his right foot amputated after a motorcycle accident six years earlier, became the first man ever to contest a world title with such a disability, and although being soundly outpointed gave hope to many would-be sportsmen. Right from the start it was noticeable that Bodzianowski lacked the mobility to trouble the champion, his job being made even more difficult when sustaining damage to his ribs in the second round. Even when Daniels (188) got home with solid shots to the head, unable to dent Bodzianowski he was forced to travel the full distance to retain his title.
