1990-10-20 [[Kamel Bou-Ali]] tdraw 2 [[Pedro Villegas]], Sports Palace, Cesena, Italy - WBO. Referee: Bobby Watson. Although Villegas (127), having sustained a serious cut over the right eye, complained of being butted repeatedly, the referee decided that the head clashes were six of one and half a dozen of the other. With the doctor ruling him out as unfit to continue in the second round, under WBO rules the decision was announced as being a no decision. For our purposes, however, it is shown as a technical draw. Meantime, Bou-Ali (129¾) continued as champion.
