In what was an extremely sloppy affair, Kim (105) had great difficulty in catching up with the elusive southpaw, Barcenas (104¾), and barely held on to his title. There were no knockdowns and too much holding, with the challenger’s jab-and-run tactics proving too difficult at times for the aggressive Kim to work out.
