1990-11-05 [[Pedro Ruben Decima]] w rsc 4 [[Paul Banke]], Great Western Forum, Los Angeles, California, USA - WBC. Referee: James Jen-Kin. It did not take the challenger long to make his mark and Banke (122) was never in the fight, being outclassed from the opening bell. Slamming right handers through Banke’s poor southpaw defence, Decima (121½) just could not miss and into the fourth round it was patently obvious that this was not going to last much longer. With Banke badly cut under the right eye, Decima continued to pound away and after three heavy knockdowns, and with the champion on the floor looking like he had been through the mincer, it was no surprise that the referee stopped the carnage with just 15 seconds of the round left.
