1990-11-05 Pedro Decima w rsc 4 Paul Banke, Great Western Forum, Los Angeles, California, USA - WBC. Referee: James Jen-Kin. It did not take the challenger long to make his mark, Banke (122) being outclassed from the opening bell. Slamming right hands through Banke’s poor southpaw defence Decima (121½) just could not miss, and into the fourth round it was patently obvious that this was not going to last much longer. At this stage Banke was badly cut under the right eye. With the champion on the floor looking like he had been through the mincer following three heavy knockdowns, it was no surprise that the referee stopped the carnage with just 15 seconds of the round left.
