1991-04-20 Charles Williams w rsc 2 James Kinchen, Caesar’s Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA - IBF. Referee: Frank Cappuccino. Walking straight into Kinchen (175) from the bell, the champion immediately took over and made his extra power pay as he whacked in punches from both hands. Towards the end of the opening session, Kinchen was caught by a cluster of blows before being dropped by a right to the head and despite getting up he was being battered by Williams (174) when the gong came to his aid. The fight was almost over and after Kinchen was rapidly being taken apart the referee rescued him after 23 seconds of the second round had elapsed.
