1991-05-09 Leeonzer Barber w rtd 6 Tom Collins, Town Hall, Leeds, England - WBO. Referee: Roberto Ramirez. Fighting for the title relinquished by his stable-mate, Michael Moorer, Barber (173½) was soon taking the fight to Collins (174½), who landed just one worthwhile punch in the whole of the contest before being retired at the start of the sixth. Barber, a 12-fight novice, was on top all the way as Collins stayed mainly on the ropes. Having been dropped by a right to the head in the second round, which left a bad swelling on his forehead, with Collins doing little more than take punishment after that his retirement was a welcome relief.
