1991-06-03 Troy Dorsey w co 1 Alfred Rangel, Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - IBF. Referee: Vic Drakulich. Contesting the title vacated by Jorge Paez, after two unsuccessful tries Dorsey (126) finally picked up a title when he knocked out Rangel (125) at 2.37 of the first round. Following a feeling-out process, Dorsey quickly moved inside to score with right hands and when Rangel went for the jab he was countered over the top by an explosive right which left him with a suspected broken jaw.
