1991-09-12 Duke McKenzie w pts 12 Cesar Soto, Latchmere Leisure Centre, Wandsworth, London, England - WBO. Referee: Bill Connors. Scorecards: 117-114, 118-110, 117-113. Constantly making the running, especially with the jab, McKenzie (118) was too good for the tough little Soto (117¼), who made a fair fight of it but ultimately did not have the know-how to draw the champion into an out-and-out battle. Occasionally McKenzie had to absorb some heavy punches, but when hurt he merely tied the Mexican up before getting back to his boxing.
