1992-03-21 [[Daniel Londas]] w pts 12 [[Kamel Bou-Ali]], The Stadium, San Rufo, Italy - WBO. Referee: Tony Orlando. Scorecards: 116-112, 114-113, 115-115. In what was a poor fight, the veteran challenger, Londas (129¼), won a version of the world title by a majority decision when outscoring Bou-Ali (129¾), who finished with cuts over both eyes. Using all of his experience to nullify the Tunisian’s heavy uppercuts and sometimes wild blows, and sensibly keeping the fight at distance, Londas got the win after Bou-Ali was given an official warning in the final round for hitting him on the back of the neck.
