1992-03-21 Daniel Londas w pts 12 Kamel Bou-Ali, The Stadium, San Rufo, Italy - WBO. Referee: Tony Orlando. Scorecards: 116-112, 114-113, 115-115. In what was a poor fight, the veteran challenger Londas (129¼) won a version of the world title when he outscored Bou-Ali (129¾), who finished with cuts over both eyes, by a majority decision. Using all of his experience to nullify the Tunisian’s heavy uppercuts and sometimes wild blows and sensibly keeping the fight at distance, Londas got the decision after Bou-Ali was given an official warning in the final round for hitting him on the back of the neck.
