1992-03-21 Daniel Londas w pts 12 Kamel Bou Ali, The Stadium, San Rufo, Italy - WBO. Referee: Tony Orlando. Scorecards: 116-112, 114-113, 115-115. In what was a poor fight, the veteran challenger Londas (129¼) won a version of the world title when he outscored Bou Ali (129¾), who finished with cuts over both eyes, by a majority decision. Using all of his experience to nullify the Tunisian’s heavy uppercuts and sometimes wild blows and sensibly keeping the fight at distance, Londas got the decision after Bou Ali was given an official warning in the final round for hitting him on the back of the neck.
