1992-04-10 Julian Jackson w rsc 5 Ron Collins, City Bullring, Mexico City, Mexico - WBC. Referee: Lupe Garcia. Defending his title against a former sparring partner, Jackson (158¾) found Collins (159½) not afraid to meet him punch for punch and was even sent slipping to the deck in the first round. Fighting in a 16-foot ring was always going to suit the champion and by the third Collins, who had almost punched himself out, was having difficulty in avoiding the blows coming his way. After somehow getting through the fourth, come the fifth Collins was just about through for the night and when he was sent down by a solid right the referee had seen enough, stopping the fight 97 seconds into the session.
