1992-04-25 Chris Eubank w co 3 John Jarvis, G-Mex Leisure Centre, Manchester, England - WBO. Referee: Stan Christodoulou. Having had just one fight in the last 20 months, Jarvis (168) should not have been challenging Eubank (168) for his title, but when Juan Carlos Gimenez and then Ronnie Essett pulled out he stepped in to save the show. After two controlling the opening two rounds, Eubank was expected to up the pace in the third but he continued to strut his stuff before landing a tremendous right flush on Jarvis’ jaw, the American going down as if poleaxed to be counted out on the 1.50 mark.
