1992-05-22 Rafael Pineda w rsc 7 Clarence Coleman, Four Roads Bullring, Mexico City, Mexico - IBF. Referee: Jesus Arias. In complete control throughout, the champion’s biggest problems were not with Coleman (139) but with himself after he became wild and clumsy as he tried to find the punch to finish the fight with. To make matters worse, Pineda (139) suffered a damaged mouth in the fifth and was cut over the right eye by a butt in the sixth before eventually finding the blows to end the contest in the seventh. With the crowd restless, a left to the head sent Coleman down and after he had been dropped again following a solid right to the temple the referee stopped it with 28 seconds on the clock.
