1992-10-02 [[Tyrone Booze]] w pts 12 [[Ralf Rocchigiani]], National Hall, Berlin, Germany - WBO. Referee: Genaro Rodriguez. Scorecards: 114-113, 116-113, 116-112. Defending the title for the first time, Booze (187) did just enough to win against the less than mobile Rocchigiani (184¼), who was always in the fight regardless of the fact that many of his punches missed the target or were taken on the champion’s gloves. It was soon clear that neither man had the power necessary for a kayo win, but Booze’s hooks and uppercuts were accurate enough to gain the points even though he was warned on several occasions for punches that landed at the back of the head. While Rocchigiani did well in the sixth and ninth sessions, when pushing Booze on to the back foot, he was unable to set up sustained attacks and his time would come at a later date.
