1993-01-19 Reggie Johnson w rsc 8 Ki-Yun Song, The Centre, Boise, Idaho, USA - WBA. Referee: Luis Rivera. Starting as he meant to carry on, the champion was soon spearing Song (159) with solid southpaw jabs before the South Korean could even find his bearings. It seemed that all that Song had on offer was a wild right without the lead and by the seventh his left eye was completely closed and he was taking a beating as Johnson (160) went from head to body. The eighth round was the end for Song, who was rescued by the referee 40 seconds into the session after he had turned his back on Johnson following heavy body shots and a hard left flush on the jaw.
