1993-02-27 Leeonzer Barber w pts 12 Mike Sedillo, Capital City Gym, Beijing, China - WBO. Referee: James Jen-Kin. Scorecards: 116-111, 117-112, 116-111. In what was China’s first professional boxing promotion for over 40 years, Sedillo (174) started well, banging in punches from both hands and pressing forward at every opportunity. However, once Barber (175) found his rhythm and got his left jab to work the challenger, while still dangerous, had great difficulty in getting in closing his man down and was kept at bay. Towards the end it had become one-sided as Barber picked his shots, but in not following up his advantage he allowed the game Sedillo to survive to the final bell.
