1993-08-22 [[Chana Porpaoin]] w pts 12 [[Ronnie Magramo]], Saraburi Provincial Ground, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Masakatsu Uchida. Scorecards: 119-109, 119-111, 117-114. In making a successful defence of his title after rain had swept through the outdoor stadium making conditions slippery, Porpaoin (105) had to soak up early pressure from the aggressive Magramo (105), who landed telling body punches, along with combinations and solid overarm rights. It was fast, furious and exciting as Porpaoin wrestled his way out of trouble before getting on top with great left hooks, cutting the challenger badly on the right eye in the process, to come home comfortably on points.
