Proving to be the stronger right from the start the champion took the fight to Chun (125¾), pushing him back to the ropes and sending in wads of big punches, some missing but others doing a fair amount of damage. Although Chun came back strongly in the ninth and 12th rounds, hurting Park (125) with big right hands, he was unable to sustain his attacks for long and the latter won going away.
