1993-09-18 Chris Pyatt w co 6 Hugo Corti, Granby Halls, Leicester, England - WBO. Referee: Frank Cappuccino. Making his first defence, Pyatt (158) had to overcome a huge scare towards the end of the opening session after a left to the jaw from Corti (159) had him hanging on for all he was worth. Having settled by the third round, Pyatt began to take the Argentinian apart from there onwards as big rights to the head began to set the challenger up. Twice the ringside doctor had a careful look at Corti before allowing him to continue, and it came as no surprise when he was counted out at 1.58 of the sixth following a left-right to the jaw that left him seated on the canvas with nothing left.
