1993-09-18 Henry Maske w pts 12 Anthony Hembrick, Philips Hall, Dusseldorf, Germany - IBF. Referee: Bobby Ferrara. Scorecards: 119-109, 119-108, 119-108. Outboxing the cagey Hebbrick (171½) from first to last, the southpaw champion’s main problem came in the sixth round when the doctor was called to inspect a cut over his left eye. Allowed to box on, despite picking up more cuts around the same eye Maske (172½) seemed unpeturbed even though Hembrick’s was dangerous with his head throughout. Taking Maske’s best shots without ever looking likely to go down, Hembrick had a point deducted in the ninth for foul tactics.
