Starting aggressively, Sor Vorapin (104) soon took control, firing off fast jabs and looping lefts, and in the fourth session opened up a bad gash over the challenger’s left eye. Following a second examination of the eye, Siwalete (103½) was sent back to his corner and the fight was called off on the 2.22 mark. No record can be found prior to this contest for Siwalette, who went on to lose his next nine fights.
