1993-10-23 [[Felix Trinidad]] w rsc 10 [[Anthony Stephens]], Convention Centre, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - IBF. Referee: Bill Connors. This was a disappointing performance by a highly-touted champion, and he even had to get off the deck to beat Stephens (145), who had him over in the third with a big right even though it was not recorded by the referee. Trinidad (147) was then sent crashing into a corner after getting to his feet and it was noticeable that Stephens was happy to trade with him at that stage. Eventually, Stephens tired and began to take some punishment, but he was still prepared to swap punches with Trinidad whenever he could. Cut above the left eye in the eighth, Stephens was still in there making life difficult for Trinidad, but in the tenth, having taken some big punches, after he was sent crashing by a left uppercut to the jaw the referee called it off with just one second of the session remaining.
