1993-10-30 Daniel Jimenez w rsc 5 Felix Garcia, The Pavilion, Zaragoza, Spain - WBO. Referee: Joe O’Neill. Making his first defence, Jimenez (122) took on Garcia (122), who was coming back to the ring after 11 months out following a stoppage loss at the hands of Wilson Rodriguez. Prior to that the Spaniard had won his first 14 fights but was not expected to test Jimenez. Starting well, Garcia took two of the opening three rounds according to the cards, but began to fall apart at the seams in the fourth, having been dropped and under pressure at the bell. Coming into the fateful fifth, Garcia was even ahead on one of the cards but from thereon he was right up against it, being dropped twice more and rescued by the referee before the end of the session.
