1993-10-29 [[Michael Bentt]] w rsc 1 [[Tommy Morrison]], Civic Centre, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - WBO. Referee: Danny Campbell. Catching Bentt (226) heavily with a terrific left hook, that was virtually the first punch of the fight, Morrison (226¾) walked in to the challenger looking to take him out. Unfortunately for Morrison he left himself wide open and Bentt was not slow to take advantage, knocking him down three times with solid rights before the contest was ended after just 93 seconds under the three-knockdowns in a round ruling. It was a huge upset and following just ten more fights, Morrison, the nephew of the famous actor, John Wayne, tested HIV positive in Nevada, leaving his career in tatters.
