1993-11-17 Al Cole w rsc 5 Vince Boulware, Caesar’s Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA - IBF. Referee: Robert Palmer. Making his third defence, Cole (190) was soon banging in long lefts and rights to Boulware’s head and body and even though the latter fought back it was already clear that it was going to be a tough night for him. By the third both men were going toe to toe, with Boulware (190) prepared to go down fighting, but he was beginning to get ground down and in the fourth when his gumshield came out for the third time he looked ready to go. Then, having been dropped by a big right uppercut in the fifth Boulware somehow managed to get back into the fray, but after being endlessly battered around the ring and almost out on his feet he was rescued by the referee on the 1.08 mark.
