1994-01-29 [[Felix Trinidad]] w pts 12 [[Hector Camacho]], MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - IBF. Referee: Joe Cortez. Scorecards: 119-106, 117-109, 116-110. Ten years younger than his southpaw challenger and with height and reach advantages, Trinidad (147) hurt Camacho (147) with a left-right to the chin in the third, and continued to hunt him down despite finding it difficult when facing an opponent whose sole intent was to survive in any manner possible. Both men had points deducted for holding, Trinidad in the fifth and Camacho in the tenth, and after hurting the latter in the sixth, ninth and tenth sessions, and being unable to finish him off, the champion stated the obvious when saying that he found his fellow Puerto Rican to elusive to nail down.
