1994-02-05 Chris Eubank w pts 12 Graciano Rocchigiani, Deutschland Hall, Berlin, Germany - WBO. Referee: Genaro Rodriguez. Scorecards: 115-113, 118-109, 114-113. Retaining the WBO title for the tenth time, Eubank (168) was well on his way after three rounds due to Rocchigiani (163¾) scarcely throwing a punch, but the southpaw challenger hit back strongly in the fifth through the eighth. During that spell, Eubank appeared negative, but after Rocchigiani was cut on the right eye in the ninth he came back strongly to reassert himself. When the German’s cut worsened in the 11th he came back strongly to force Eubank to hold on grimly, an action which brought him a point deduction. Having been outworked in the last round, Eubank just about scraped home on two of the cards, but the judge who gave the champion 11 rounds made a mockery of Rocchigiani’s fine effort.
