1994-02-09 Chris Pyatt w rsc 1 Mark Cameron, International Hall, Brentwood, England - WBO. Referee: Robert Gonzalez. Controlling the fight from the opening bell, the champion began to probe for openings once he realised that Cameron (158½) did not pose a threat. Towards the end of the opening session, Pyatt (159¼) staggered Cameron with the jab and before the South African had time to recover a cracking right to the jaw sent him down in a heap. Although the bell to end the round sounded when the count was ‘eight’, the referee continued to ‘ten’ as Cameron struggled to make it to his feet.
