1994-02-27 Ratanapol Sorvoraphin w pts 12 Ronnie Magramo, Open Air Arena, Bangmunnak, Pichit, Thailand - IBF. Referee: Billy Males. Scorecards: 118-110, 118-111, 115-113. Contested in a makeshift ring, Sorvoraphin (105), the taller of the two, made a good start with snappy lefts and rights to head and body before Magramo (103½) came back in the middle rounds with body attacks of his own. Trying everything he could muster, Sorvoraphin hit hard and often in the final session, but the game Magramo refused to wilt and fully deserved to make it to the bell. Both men finished extremely tired and facially damaged, Sorvoraphin being cut on the left eye in the eighth, while the challenger was bleeding from the left eye in the ninth and the right cheek in the 11th.
