1994-03-12 Steve Robinson w co 12 Paul Hodkinson, National Ice Rink, Cardiff, Wales - WBO. Referee: Dave Parris. Having made tremendous strides from journeyman to world champion in no time at all, Robinson (125) yet again confirmed his progress when winning virtually every round before finishing Hodkinson (125) off in the final session. With his right eye almost closed Hodkinson had given his all when Robinson finally got to him in the 12th, and he was dropped for ‘six’ after taking a series of blows from both hands before going down again, this time to be counted out with 80 seconds left on the clock.
