1994-03-25 [[Johnny Bredahl]] w pts 12 [[Eduardo Nazario]], Sports Hall, Aakirkeby, Denmark - WBO. Referee: Cornelio Stucchi. Scorecards: 118-111, 118-109, 119-110. A return match, it was contested at a fast pace throughout with the champion’s better skills prevailing, especially the countering jab and the occasional right cross. The aggressive Nazario (114½), cut on the left eye in the eighth, was always right in front of Bredahl (114½) and put the latter down with a palpably low blow in the ninth, only for the referee to take up the count before deducting a point from the challenger. The two men then continued to the final bell, the result being a formality. Bredahl’s WBO version of the title was vacated in August after the organising body were outlawed in Denmark.
