1994-04-16 [[Yasuei Yakushiji]] w co 10 [[Josefino Suarez]], Inae Sports Centre, Nagoya, Japan - WBC. Referee: Carlos Padilla. Prior to round six, Yakushiji (117¾) had not really imposed himself on Suarez (116¾), but after gaining control despite suffering a cut over the left eye he steadily piled up the points with the straight right working well in his favour. Meanwhile, the challenger was always dangerous with his attacks to the body, but having absorbed a solid right to the head in the tenth Yakushiji got down to business in that area himself, dropping Suarez for the full count on the 2.21 mark.
