1994-05-07 Terry Norris w pts 12 Simon Brown, MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - WBC. Referee: Mitch Halpern. Scorecards: 116-112, 117-111, 119-109. Putting the earlier loss of his title behind him, Norris (152) came back a totally different fighter to completely outbox Brown (154) and regain the championship belt by a unanimous decision. This time round Norris looked to outspeed Brown, rather than trying to knock him out, and although he failed to work hard enough in some rounds he was almost always going too well for the champion. Using a good left hand, coupled with fast combinations, Norris gave Brown few chances to land solidly and was almost always one step ahead.
