1994-06-04 Henry Maske w pts 12 Andrea Magi, Westphalia Hall, Dortmund, Germany - IBF. Referee: Robert Gonzalez. Scorecards: 117-114, 117-112, 119-110. With both men boxing cautiously it was not an exciting fight, but Maske (173¾) did more than enough to retain his title against the tough challenger, despite being cut on the left eye in the sixth and dropped by a right hand in the tenth. Eventually warned for careless use of the head in the eighth and cut over the left eye in the ninth, Magi (174½) lacked the quality of his southpaw opponent whose returns were mainly crisp and accurate. While not an exciting contest it was always an interesting one.
