1994-10-09 Leo Gamez w co 6 Pichit Chor Siriwat, Ramkhamhaeng University, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Mitch Halpern. Making a good start with a wide range of punches, the southpaw challenger, Chor Siriwat (107½), the younger brother of the better known Pichit Sitbangprachan, dropped Gamez (107½) in the second round with a heavy right and then went on to dominate the next three sessions before the momentum changed in the sixth. It was then that Gamez went for the body and the change was instant as the Thai weakened rapidly before being sunk by a right-left-right combination, the result of which saw the challenger counted out on the two-minute mark.
