1994-11-05 Chana Porpaoin w pts 12 Manuel Herrera, Municipal School Gym, Hat Yai, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Tasaki Hiroyuki. Scorecards: 115-113, 115-112, 112-114. For the first three rounds, Herrera (103¾) piled up points with accurate one-twos and cut the champion’s left eye in the fourth before being punished from left hooks to head and body. In the sixth session Porpaoin (105) was dropped for the mandatory ‘eight’ count, but came back strongly to dominate the remainder of the contest, with Herrera deducted a point for holding in the 11th and being put under systematic pressure until the final bell.
