Although an accidental head butt opened up a cut over the champion’s right eye in the second round, the fight continued with with Chuwatana (118), sporting a southpaw stance, in control of Koh (118) with right jabs and left crosses. However, in the fifth session there was another collision of heads and after consultation with the ringside doctor the referee halted the fight before going to the cards on the 1.39 mark.
