1994-11-26 [[John John Molina]] w co 10 [[Wilson Rodriguez]], Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum, Bayamon, Puerto Rico - IBF. Referee: Chris Wollesen. Starting fast and looking for an early finish, the champion chased after Rodriguez (129) but was initially unable to catch up with him before settling into his regular routine. Although Rodriguez, showing good movement and fast hands, was in the fight up until the sixth, after being cut over the left eye in that session he began to fall away and Molina (130), recognising that his rival was beginning to fade moved up a gear. Attacking the body further weakened Rodriguez and in the tenth round a right uppercut-left hook combination dropped him heavily to be counted out on the 1.41 mark.
