1994-12-10 Eamonn Loughran w tdec 5 Manning Galloway, G-Mex Centre, Manchester, England - WBO. Referee: Luis Fernandez. Scorecards: 39-37, 39-37, 40-37. The southpaw challenger made the worst possible start against Loughran (146½) when falling short with the jab and being slammed by left hooks in the opening two rounds before both men were cut after an accidental clash of heads. While Loughran was cut on the forehead, Galloway, who had his right eye damaged, was worse off, and when another coming together of heads opened a cut above and below his left eye in the third the American was really up against it. With Loughran firmly in control in the fourth, Galloway bled profusely, and although he came out for the fifth, following a long consultation with the doctors the referee called it off without a punch being thrown in that session and went to the cards.
