1995-03-18 Harold Grey w pts 12 Orlando Tobon, Bernardo Caraballo Coliseum, Cartagena, Colombia - IBF. Referee: Gabriel Sanchez. Scorecards: 117-111, 116-112, 114-114. Defending his title against Tobon (115), a fellow Colombian with a record of 16 wins from 20 contests, ten of them inside the distance, Grey (115) made a good start when rattling off the opening six rounds. Although Tobon came back well in the seventh it was not until the last three sessions that he made some inroads as he looked for the punch that would give him victory. However, despite taking several solid blows, Grey mainly kept out of harm's way to win the majority decision. How one judge made it a draw was a strange one, but ultimately the right man won.
