1995-05-24 Hiroshi Kawashima w pts 12 Seung-Koo Lee, Cultural Gym, Yokohama, Japan - WBC. Referee: Lupe Garcia. Scorecards: 117-112, 116-111, 116-111. Defending his title for the third time, Kawashima (115) proved to be too fast and clever for the tough Lee (114¾) and using the jab well he went into a clear points lead over the first seven rounds. In the eighth, however, the challenger cut loose with some effect and in the tenth dropped Kawashima, who was saved by the bell. Following that the champion, who kept himself out of range in the 11th before mixing it up prior to the final bell, was a clear winner on all three cards, having boxed well against a dangerous opponent.
