1995-05-27 [[Daorung Chuwatana]] drew 12 [[Lakhin Vasansit]], Prefectural Gym, Nakhon, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Enzo Montero. Scorecards: 114-115, 116-114, 115-115. The champion made a quick start only to be countered by Vasansit (118). Chuwatana (118) eventually took over in the fifth when standing toe-to-toe and firing off combinations. In the tenth Vasansit came back strongly, Chuwatana being cut over the left eye. Into the final two sessions, both men fought strongly and scored heavily as the battle raged on, and at the final bell it was obviously going to be a close call.
