1995-05-27 Henry Maske w pts 12 Graciano Rocchigiani, Westphalia Hall, Dortmund, Germany - IBF. Referee: Bobby Ferrara. Scorecards: 116-114, 116-112, 117-111. In a battle of southpaws, the challenger was on the attack from the opening bell and hurt Maske (174) with a left hook to the head and kept up the pressure right to the end despite being cut over both eyes. In most rounds Maske just about kept his nose in front, but in the ninth he was almost dropped after taking several hard lefts and rights to the head as Rocchigiani (173½) desperately tried to gain the upper hand. Again, in the 12th, Maske was again under terrific pressure and should have received a count when he fell to the canvas after holding on for dear life, only for the referee to help him to his feet.
