1995-05-28 Tom Johnson w pts 12 Eddie Croft, Convention Centre, South Padre Island, Texas, USA - IBF. Referee: Rafael Ramos. Scorecards: 119-109, 120-108, 119-109. Showing far too much speed and know-how for Croft (125), Johnson (125½) once again effectively dealt with a challenger, who although able to get the jab working well at times was outjabbed and outmanoeuvred by his more experienced foe. Not only that, but Johnson’s added power was also a decisive factor and allowed him time and space as Croft, looking to counter, was unable to get to grips with the pace of the fight.
