1995-06-17 [[Regilio Tuur]] w rsc 5 [[Pete Taliaferro]], Theatre of the Performing Arts, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - WBO. Referee: Johnny Femia. On the back foot from the opening bell, the challenger was never really in the fight apart from a sustained, furious assault in the fourth, and Tuur (130) went further and further in front as the fight progressed. Upping the pressure in the fifth, Tuur walked into Taliaferro (130) and eventually got to his rival with a hard right to the jaw followed by a left hook which bent him over double. With Taliaferro still unprotected and Tuur having smashed in a heavy overarm right to the back of  his head the referee had seen enough and with 17 seconds of the session remaining he called it off.
