1995-06-24 [[Roy Jones]] w rsc 6 [[Vinny Pazienza]], Convention Centre, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA - IBF. Referee: Tony Orlando. After seeing what Pazienza (168) could do in the opening two rounds, the champion went after his challenger in the third and by the end of the fourth had cut him under the left eye and bloodied his nose. Continuing to come off worse in the exchanges, Pazienza could not cope with the speed of Jones (168) and after being cut on the right eye in the fifth he tore into the latter in the sixth, only to be dropped by a left hook. Up at around ‘four’, Pazienza was soon down again, this time courtesy of a cracking right, but after getting up again and being sent crashing after a lightning fast six-punch combination the referee called it off with two seconds of the session remaining.
